The user has a complete authored curriculum (10.xx docs, deployed to
k8s-learning.pages.dev) but is pre-hands-on: k3s service inactive, no
kubectl/k3d/helm, no ~/.kube. Mission is to learn Kubernetes
(MISSION.md). This sets the zone of proximal development at Day 1:
install native k3s and get kubectl get nodes Ready. Future lessons
should not assume any cluster state; re-probe the machine each session.
